The Spro Little John DD “Deep Diving” Crankbaits take the winning Little John Crankbait formula into the dark depths. Spro and elite bass pro John Crews designed the Little John DD to dive down to an amazing 20 ft with ease. The Little John DD has a bill that is pointed slightly downward, allowing it bounce off cover without losing depth and track straight along the bottom without kicking out wildly. A unique Tungsten weight transfer system and aerodynamic streamline design allows the angler to launch the 1 oz. Little John DD an incredible distance and creates an ideal balance in the water. The Spro Little John DD Crankbaits are available in an array of proven fish catching colors and come standard with sticky, sharp Gamakatsu hooks.
“I designed the DD John to be the best deep diving crank bait ever created!" - John Crews

The Spro Little John DD Crankbait are available for pre-order and are expected* to arrive mid-late Fall.
*These are expected dates supplied by the manufacture and are subject to change.

It looks like it is pissed off. Where can you buy them? I would like to try one that goes that deep without wearing my arms out.

If at 1st you don't succeed, you're probably from Missouri.

John Crews showed me his new baits and they look good. They have a plastic bill unlike his shallow divers and he said they dive deeper than a DD22

DD22s hit about 13 feet on 10# line.

Can you throw it into the wind because, that is as important as anything.

Thanks John BUT who has thrown them in the wind? I have yet to see anything throw like a Rapala DT in the wind. Long casts are a must for deep fishing crankbaits. How long is it at max depth? When you retrieve is it s parabola or does it go straight down and stay there until near the boat. Inquiring minds want to know before they invest in more crankbaits

I will let you know when I get my Spro Pro Staff order Bill, Those will be on the order. The bait is shaped like the Fat free shad but flat sides. I imagine the DT & Spro CB's will throw the same in the wind because Rapala uses the same concept for weight transfer in thier baits
